Back to School! We visit Ossett South Parade Primary.

Sandal were thrilled to be once again taking part in the Primary Futures initiative.

Primary Futures enables schools to connect with volunteers from the world of work quickly and easily, revolutionising the way in which children get insights and inspiration about the world of work and their futures.

The team from Sandal consisted of Joe, a sales executive with MINI, Andy, a product genius from BMW and Emmie from our marketing department.

We were hosted by the KS2 children from South Parade Primary School in Ossett and invited to attend a wonderful assembly in which we were treated to a fantastic musical production while some of the volunteers took part in a game of what’s my line.

Following the assembly Emmie was whisked away to the classroom to talk all about her role at Sandal while the gents had the enviable job of showing some very excited children the cars we had brought along. Representing MINI was the 25th Anniversary limited edition convertible MINI Cooper and representing BMW was the i8.

Joe and Andy talked all about their job roles and the different job options which are available within the motor industry while the children took a closer look at the cars.

The day was a huge success and the cars onsite proved very popular (especially with the teachers). This was a wonderful opportunity for us to bring our cars and our team into our local community.

A huge thanks to the children of Ossett South Parade Primary for their fabulous hospitality and for being such enthusiastic and inquisitive minds.
