In combination with M xDrive featured in the four-wheel drive in the Coupé & Convertible, this transmission guarantees extremely superior transformation of power output – now increased from 510 hp to 390 kW/530 hp – into exhilarating driving dynamics. Drivers can create two personalized configurations, adjusting the engine sound, DSC, Auto Start/Stop, and shift characteristics of the eight-speed M Steptronic transmission, all retrievable via the M buttons on the steering wheel. Standard in the M4 CS, the M Drive Professional system adds advanced tools like the M Drift Analyser, which records cornering slides, and the M Laptimer, providing detailed lap data to share with fellow enthusiasts.
