The 4 Series Coupé launched this October and the team at Sandal wanted to show this car off to its fullest potential.

The Piece Hall, Halifax was the perfect back drop for the shoot. Aligning rich heritage, innovative design, and the highest standard of manufacturing. ​

Built as a cloth hall and opened in 1779, traders from around the area would come and sell their wool goods to customers who had travelled across West Yorkshire to buy. The Piece Hall has adapted to the times whilst still being steeped in its rich history and now houses independent traders selling everything from boutique gin to vinyl records.

The 4 sat perfectly within the walls of the Piece Hall. It’s bold yet classic design standing out but not taking away from the beauty of its surroundings. Much like the Piece Hall, the 4 has moved on with the times but there are still elements of the car which are more than a passing nod to its heritage, such as the distinctive and divisive kidney grille which gives the 4 its impressive character.

The proportions of the 4 and lower center of gravity give it a wider stance, not only makes it feel more commanding on the road but commanding of attention wherever you go.

Love it or hate it, you certainly cannot ignore it.
