Today marked a significant milestone at Woodsome Hall Golf Club, as the club unveiled its newly installed electric vehicle charging facilities.
As a partner of the club, we were proud to be present for this important occasion. The introduction of electric vehicle chargers represents a meaningful step forward in enhancing sustainable infrastructure at one of Yorkshire’s most historic and respected golfing venues.
Supported by Sandal Group, this development reflects a shared commitment to responsible progress, ensuring the club continues to evolve while preserving the heritage and character that define it.
Woodsome Hall Golf Club has always been known for its rich history, strong sense of community and beautiful surroundings. The introduction of electric vehicle charging facilities marks an important step in the club’s ongoing commitment to evolving with the times while protecting everything that makes it so special.
Bringing EV charging to a venue with such heritage shows a clear and thoughtful commitment to members, visitors and the wider move towards cleaner mobility. To officially introduce the chargers, we were delighted to take part in a blue ribbon cutting to mark the occasion. It was a simple but meaningful moment that brought everyone together and signalled the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Woodsome Hall.
Seeing the chargers in place, set against the backdrop of the course, was a reminder that progress does not need to feel intrusive.
