EXCITING NEW MODELS COMING YOUR WAY

2020 and 2021 have been busy years for BMW as they look to evolve future model generations and whilst keeping focussed on driving the electric revolution. The launches we are awaiting include the pure electric BMW iX3, the 4 Series Coupé, the 5 Series LCI and the all new M3 & M4 models.

THE ALL ELECTRIC BMW CONCEPT iX3

For the first time, BMW has created a purely electric-powered X model in the iX3 Sports Activity Vehicle with Gen5 technology. Bringing together the electric motor, transmission and power electronics into one compact design, delivering over 70 kWh with a range of 249 miles, with new charging capabilities of recharge in 30 mins. Its unmistakeable aerodynamic design, featuring a closed kidney grille and eye-catching blue accents on a Moonstone Silver finish with BMW i logos it has been designed to capture attention.

NEW BMW 4 SERIES COUPÉ IS FAST APPROACHING!

The finish line is insight. The new BMW 4 Series Coupé is in its final testing phase. From country roads, to the urban traffic, the new BMW 4 Series Coupé epitomises sporty design and performance. The range will be spearheaded by a BMW M model in the shape of the new BMW M440i xDrive Coupé, featuring 48V mild-hybrid technology for the first time. Including a 48V starter-generator and a second battery to support the engine. There is also a punchier power when the driver hits the accelerator hard to deliver lightning-fast off-the-line getaways and in-gear sprints.

THE NEW BMW 5 SERIES

As for the X5, X6 and X7 models, BMW has set the pace for a xDrive40d with the 48V integrated starter generator technology. These upgrades will showcase a more dynamic line with sharp new headlights and restyled kidney grille and new tail lamps. The interior upgrade is likely to include the intelligent and comprehensively developed BMW OS 7.0 infotainment platform which also comprises the BMW Live Cockpit fully digital instrument cluster.

BMW M3 & M4 MODELS

As we move to Spring 2021 we will then see the debut of the M3/M3 Competition which share the same powertrain, which develops 480 PS (473 hp) as standard or 510 PS (503 hp) for the Competition versions. These new generations will be the first in history to power all four wheels and make use of the all-wheel-drive sports platform, M XDrive traction system.

A special edition ‘M3 Pure’ is also looking to be on the cards, yet to be confirmed, with power from the rear wheels via a 6-speed manual gearbox with an output of 444hp. We will keep you posted.
