To help us provide an accurate estimate for your BMW SMART repair, we need a few clear photos of your vehicle. Follow the simple instructions below to learn how to upload the required images. DAMAGE PHOTOGRAPHY GUIDE.

1. Mileage image

Take a clear photo of your BMW’s dashboard display showing the current mileage. Ensure the numbers are visible and there is no glare or blur.

2. VIN image

Locate your Vehicle Identification Number (VIN), which is usually found:

• On the driver's side door frame (when you open the door)
• On the lower corner of the windscreen (driver’s side)
• In the engine bay or vehicle registration documents

Take a clear, well-lit photo of the VIN so all characters are legible.

3. Damaged area

Capture a full view of the damaged area from a slight distance. This helps us assess the location and extent of the damage in relation to the rest of the car. Make sure the photo is taken in good lighting with minimal reflections.

4. Close-up damage

Take a detailed, close-up shot of the damaged area to show the severity of the scratches, dents, or scuffs. Ensure the image is in focus and highlights any texture or depth of the damage.

5. Photos from every corner of the vehicle

Take four clear photos, one from each corner of your BMW, capturing a full view of the vehicle. This helps us assess the overall condition and ensure a thorough evaluation.

6. Submit your form
