Many people are under the impression that it’s their insurance company that must choose where their car is repaired after an accident, but this isn’t the case. While your insurer may suggest one of their preferred body repairers to save costs, potentially by fitting non-Genuine BMW Parts, you are fully entitled to request that your BMW is repaired by the people who know it best – a BMW Approved Bodyshop, such as Sandal BMW.
All new BMWs are now fitted with BMW Emergency Call as standard, which will contact the emergency services automatically, in the event of a major accident. For smaller collisions, where your car is left immobile, simply call 0344 335 0142, and BMW will collect your vehicle and deliver it to us at Sandal.
The innovative BMW Accident Call offers professional support for accidents at low speed. Sensors allow your BMW to detect accidents in the lower range of speeds, automatically display a warning notice in the iDrive monitor and offer the driver a direct connection with BMW Accident Assistance. One click with the iDrive Controller connects the driver directly with the specialists at BMW Accident Assistance, who then provide professional support with the aid of information relevant to the accident, transmitted by the vehicle.
Our new facilities are equipped to handle a range of services from minor cosmetic repairs to major bodywork overhauls. A key feature of Sandals' bodyshop is the state-of-the-art Poseidon spraybooths, which have revolutionised our operations by significantly improving workflow efficiency and the quality of finishes. These spraybooths incorporate Eco+ Energy Saver technology, which reduces operational costs and minimises our environmental footprint.
In addition to the new spraybooths, we have implemented the new BMW Colour System, providing factory-quality refinishing for all BMW vehicles. We have introduced new paint schemes and conducted comprehensive staff training, ensuring that we maintain full operational capacity while delivering exceptional results.
