If your MINI is over three years old, it requires an annual MOT test. It’s an in-depth inspection, required by law, to ensure that your car meets safety requirements as well as environmental standards, so you can keep driving happy.
You’d be hard pushed to find technicians more passionate about MINIs than ours. And, if you need something replace, you can rest assured that you’re getting the best. Our technicians only use Genuine MINI Parts, most of which come with a two year warranty. Come to us and once your MINI has passed we’ll also give you the official VT20 certificate which is a receipt for the test and shows the information held on the MOT database. This is all topped off with a complementary wash and vac.
If it’s your MINI’s first MOT, you are covered by MINI MOT Protect. In the unlikely event that your MINI does fail its first MOT test, you won´t have to lose out as repairs, replacements and labour are covered on a long list of key items from electrical and lighting equipment to steering and suspension*. Any issues will be addressed promptly and completely free of charge so you can pass your MOT test with the minimum of fuss.
Your first MOT is £54, including your End of Warranty check. All MOTs after that are just £40.
We’ll help prepare your vehicle for its MOT as much as we can. In the unlikely event that it does fail its MOT, we will work with you to find the reasons why and to ensure it passes a second time around.
A MINI MOT includes a 150-point vehicle inspection. If your BMW passes its inspection, you will be issued with an official VT20 certificate which is your receipt for the MOT test and shows the information that will be held on the MOT database. Any recommended additional work will be listed on the advisory notice of the VT32 document.
*MOT Protect is valid for the vehicle’s first MOT only. Cost of MOT test or re-test, wheels, tyres, windscreen, brake pads and discs, modified/non MINI components, failure as a result of neglect and MOT advisories are not covered by MOT Protect. Repairs must be carried out by a MINI Approved Retailer within 30 days of the MOT inspection failure.
